UPDATE! after 5 comments it seems I should have put here that I cut Beau out of the below photo and popped him into the YMCA pool.... No, he has not been in the pool. He refuses to step down onto the step. I almost got him to do it, will try cheese next time.

I'm with Beau, some of us are just not cut out for swimming, says Faith, who doesn't seem to understand that her webbed paws are made for swimming. But then, I've never taken her to a lake or a pool, so she may love it once she sees the real thing.

Hey Beau, Ma once bought one of those kiddie pools to try and gets me in the water too ~ it had the same result. I, and Airedale, am suppose to be a water dog....I am not. I HATES gettin' my furs wet, and I will NOT gets willingly into any pool of water. nope. Ma wishes I would, she says I needs a good rinse....BOL!!

Is Beau part greyhound? They don’t like the water. My nephew’s dog lives near water and he refuses to put a paw in, the dog not my nephew, lol!
