I heard Mama tell Daddy, she thinks I may have been a person in my other life.
I do this a LOT and she can't help taking my photos because she said I MELT HER HEART when I sit like this.
Guess what happened to me?
Mama went to the store to get her prescriptions, Daddy was throwing my ball in my runway.
The ball went richochet off the big tree and flew into the air,
I made a flying leap to catch it
and
FELL IN THE POOL
I came back up with the ball and swam to the side and hooked my elbows over the edge
and daddy put his hand under me and I jumped right out.
WET! and cold. the pool temp is 65 degrees F that is COLD
It did not bother me, and Mama said after they quit laughing, that when the weather is warmer they will see if I want to swim.
they hope I will. Max, the first dog of the house, loved it, the next dogs, Baby, Cooper, Jake and Big Boy refused to get in the water.

I can't wait! It looks like you may like to swim!! But of course you will happily go anywhere the ball is.
Beau, let me tell you, 65F is NOT cold.
In fact it's almost bath temperature!
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
that was very brave to rescue that ball. and we sure were persons in a former life, kings and queens or gods, we bet ;O)
You are quite the ball player. Good job jumping right in the pool to get it. Duke would have loved your pool. Gibbs would swim but he didn't like it the way Duke did.

Well, I guess it did feel cold after the heat of the sun - but it would be fun if you did like to swim. You sure do sit pretty!!! HUgs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Hello Beau,
I'll bet you are a great swimmer! You look so cute sitting in the chair. I am glad you saved the ball, you can not loose that ball.
HUGS< have a great day!
You do look darn handsome sitting like that Beau. Maybe we'll get to see a video of you swimming soon.
I do believe you were a people, love the way you sit! I can't believe you went in the pool, way too cold for that! Wait until next month to do that again Beau, it will warm up by then.
What a surprise! Were you scared, Beau? When they were just a few months old, Macie Ann fell in the pool and would have drowned if her sister didn't alert daddy. (Who was sitting poolside, but paying no attention.)
I never thought about you being a 'people' in your previous life ... but why not? If it could happen to Enzo (The Art of Racing in the Rain), it could happen to you, too.
Beau you have excellent posture and I 100% sure you took advanced courses in Sitting
Hugs Cecilia
You are so cute sitting in the chair, Beau. We bet when the weather gets warm that you'll love retrieving your balls from the pool. It will help keep you cool while you play too.
I'll bet that dip in the pool was a big surprise too. I'll wait to see if you're a water dog. Our Angel Little Bit was not a water dog.
Have a woof woof day, Beau. My best to your peeps. ♥
I am sorry, Beau, I am imagining this and laughing now.
I always have to laugh when I see him sitting on the furniture. He's so darn cute. Glad he was able to get out of the pool okay.
That would be so cool if you would like the pool!
You are one brave dog! It will wonderful if you like the pool! Have a marvellously Happy Day!
Anything for that ball, right Beau?
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It is a perfect sit!
