I laid just like this on my daddy's lap from 6 to 10:30 IN THE MORNING.
Mama gave me baby aspirin at 6, I ate breakfast at 6 not 5, I can't put my head down to the bowl or water dish and I can't pick up orange thing.
I tried to pick Orange thing up at 10 but I yelped and could not.
Daddy got up two times to get the circulation going in his legs.
We ate lunch, and the human piece of food that fell out of my mouth, mama had to pick them up for me.
then we went out by the pool and I laid in the shade
then in the sun
then daddy massaged me
then mama massaged me
I laid in shade
I laid in sun
I can walk and squat and lay down and get up, but I can't bend forward or put my head down.
I can't pick up my ball, I want my orange thing, I tried to pick it up to put in my 5 am food bowl and yelped 3 times, like somebody kicked me.
Mama said it time to call the vet today.
Mama thinks I have pulled muscle, it does hurt unless I move it down.
We all slept all night, which means I am better than I was 24 hours ago

I was wondering if it wasn't some kind of pulled muscle also. I hope He's feeling better today. Let us know what the vet says

Deary me Beau - you do the hangdog look really well!!! I guess the bonus out of this is all that lounging with daddy... but I am sending lots of POTP and hopes that the vet can discover the problem - then advise the fix! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh sweet Beau I agree with Mama you probably playing with Orange thing to vigorously causing pain in your neck. I hope and purr by Noon today you are on the mend

It sounds like it could be something with your neck if it isn't one of your front legs/shoulders. We are keeping our paws crossed that you feel better soon.

The first thing I was going to say is "Call Your VET!" Even if you talked with the emergency one, a second opinion is in order. Beau might have a nervous breakdown if he cannot pick up his balls! In case you are e-mailing me, now my other e-mail is broken! It won't send or recieve. I am waiting for the computer guy to call and remote into it. I am waiting to hear what the vet says! SURELY there is something else he can do. What a mystery. I'll chesk for e-mails from you as soon as this is working. Anything major, you can comment on my blog and I will see it.

We are sorry we missed your earlier post. We hope you will be feeling better soon. Try to relax, Beau. And do feel better. The vet may be able to give you something to relax your muscles and for the pain.
