Christmas Eve Tale part 3

It's almost ready Beau, a few more minutes.

OK Daddy, I will wait and wait and wait, butt that smell is killing me.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Finally! It's ready. Mama said to tell you there were two plates like this.
She hates cooking and this will give leftovers for Days.
That is because they LIMIT my portions. Really Limit!
Only a few tiny pieces.
She said it is because it would make me sick, butt I know she is counting how many days she can stretchy the left over thing.

This is the List mama wrote so she would not forget the menu. She showed it to daddy a few days before Christmas even and said can you read the last thing on the list?

When you read this list can you guess what that last item is?
Mama had no clue what she wrote. Do You?

While Mama prepared the HIGH CARB MEAL she kept looking at Ruk  bur.. ha ha ha
and hoping she could figure it out..

BBQ Pork Ribs
Potato Salad
Cranberry salad
Ambrosia fruit
Rolls
Carmelized Apple Pie for daddy only, Sugar free Pumkin for mama and me.
She figured out the Ruk bur   was Baked Beans when she found the can of BEANS.
UPDATE per 3 comments below... what looks like Ruk Bur is Bak Bns

Hello, Beau

Your Mom's writing is better than my hubby's. I can not read what he writes. Ruk Bur, I never heard of.. it doesn't look like baked beans.

I love having leftovers for other meals later in the week. YUM!

HUGS, have a happy day!

Ma said it is short hand for RHUBARB pie.
We are not going to win this one.
I hope the baked beans mean you don't have to sleep outside.

Maybe Ruk Bur beans are the toot-less kind.

Next time do your list on the computer, spell check will figure it out!
Right?

Sounds like a great meal. I have no idea what Rak Bur is though.

Have a woof woof day, Beau. My best to your peeps. ♥

Now THAT's funny! I know you wouldn't rest until you'd solved the puzzle, "What is ruk bur?"
Aside from the lima beans in Camp Stew, neither of us eat beans. Now that I think about it, I can't remember having ever bought any.
The picture of those ribs is making my mouth water, big time!

I love the language and puzzles over here. Hee Hee. Food sounds really, really good. Ambrosia is the best. A good lighter dessert . Love the photos and always the good stories you all have here. Have a great week and don't get into New Year's Eve mischief ok? We found out there is a Christmas movie marathon on New Year's Eve so we will be nestled in watching them as long as we can last. HaHaHa.
Thank you for always being so kind and visiting and praying too for Tarrah and Ella. HUGS

Your Mom's handwriting is worse than our dad's and his is really bad, BOL! We would like to have some of the food on that list, though. XOX Lucy and Xena and Riley too

Sounds yummy. Both the peeps in this house are glad printing isn't a thing anymore and typing is.
