This post was created 3 days ago, Big is not doing well even with the chill pills. I pulled the post but then decide to post it anyway, because it helps me when you comment with love.
His heart is struggling, yesterday he did not want to eat, but ate the turkey with pills, and 2 hours later he threw it all up. he was so sick all morning but at noon perked up and wanted food.
he ate 1/2 cup dry food with Fancy feast liver on it.
This morning, he did not want breakfast, I gave him the pills wrapped in processed cheese, becuase it wraps around the pill.
3 hours now since he ate the cheese pills and so far it is staying down.
The vet says I have to be consistent and take my 2 pills at the same time, AM and PM and never miss.
Mama and daddy have their AM pills in the black box by the coffee pot.
She made me a custom Big Boy Only Pill Box and when she takes her pill she gives me mine.
Mine are in given in Turkey Meatballs custom deesigned by Mama.
I have a PM box and it sits on the breakfast bar with Mommy and Daddy's PM pills!
We are a FAMILY of pill takers.
PS Mama says to tell you she puts them in the box because her memory is bad and this way she can tell if the day is empty she gave it to me.
The thing is she sometimes can't remember what day it is.
If she gave them to me from the RX bottle, no way to tell if she did or did not.
That is why THEIRS are in boxes.

We are keeping our paws crossed that the pills help you feel better soon. Our pawrents take a bunch of pills too and keep them in those little boxes.
Great idea, mommy! Were it not for my own pill keeper, gosh knows. (Yep, I'm the one that used to stare at the bottle in my hand, trying to recall if I'd taken my pill or just dreamed it.)

You have such a great mom and dad. They take such good care of you. You need to try to take your pills buddy. We give Disco his pill in something we buy from the vet called pill poppers. A little expensive but they do work. Also does the med come in liquid where you could give him a shot - I know that would be more too - but it is an idea. Prayers and hugs abound. sandie
Yes BB, what ever it takes to get those pill on time and working for you. I take 2 pills and 2 liquid meds twice each day and it's tough to stay on schedule sometimes. We love you pal.

Again, exactly the same as ME! I have this kind of pill keeper, only it has four rows of pills. One of these rows is a day of pills for me, and I fill it every four days. I would never be able to remember what I took or didn't take, so this makes it easy. If the space is empty, I took the pills. B.B., your Mommy is the Mad One and I am her Court Jester, just sayin...

You keep taking those pills and I'll keep praying that you get better. Tell your moma that I use one of those pill boxes too because I can't remember if I take mine or not if I don't.

You are a very brave boy BB, taking your pills as the vet ordered. It's very important and I so hope they will make you feel better soon. Ever since you came to live with your mama and papa, all of us, her followers who read about you, have fallen in love with you. And we know how much your mama and papa love you too. So with all this love all around, I think it may make you feel better soon. I hope so and I'm sending some big hugs to you.

I have been in a black hole (our new place with no cell or internet yet) but I was worrying about you, Big. We are sending you so much love and healing POTP. The boxes are a great idea. We do that for Hachi and Shyla so that we know whether they've had their pills. It works so well.

Oh my pal, I am so sorry you have been feelin' yucky again. I've been thinkin' of you and keepin' my paws crossed that the meds keep workin' and you can feel good. I will keep sendin' lots and lots of POTP and healin' vibes and maybe some margaritas... you knows they can make those pills go down better! BOL! Oh, and Ma is the same way with the pills ~ she decided to gets the pill reminders when she accidentally took a second dose of her Ibuprofen! oops. She was okays, butts learned her lesson ☺

Big Boy, there are other hearts right there in your house who need your heart to be ok. You are a sweet, precious, beautiful boy, so keep trying to be well, and we hope for good news soon.
Momma does the same thing with pill boxes! We'll cross everything super tight that you feel better soon.
We are sending you so much POTP and so many purrayers Big Boy ! Our huMom has to do the same thing with her pills, as she takes morning pills, evening pills and vitamins. So we know it is a good system !

Lady's first dog got really sick and he was in like 15 pills a day. There were holders and charts (as some where not every day). It is hard! Lady's dad uses a timer to remind him to take his pills.
