I don't know why I love you, but I do

This is our Angel Cooper. My pawrentz rescued him from the SPCA when he was 7 years old. Cooper was here a few short years,  but he is in our hearts forever.

Each time Mama hears this commercial , she starts singing I don't know why I love you but I do and runs to the living room to watch this commercial and then Mama and Daddy smile and laugh and rewind and watch it over and over, and say He looks like Cooper.

I think Who Is Cooper?

Mama says he was the best and sweetest Angel they ever had.  Also the only tall and thin and long nose dog they ever had.. Cooper was losing his hair when Mama found him. His people turned him and his sister in to the shelter. They had been together since birth and someone adopted the sister right away and he had been stressed and all alone for a whole year..

Adopt Senior Dogs. I was almost 6 and now I am almost 7. And I am now the Best Dog They Ever Had but Mama did say something about Cooper being the ONLY dog they have had that always did what he was asked to do. Something about Coming When Called. The First Time.
Cooper has his own page in the tabs at the top of the blog.

What a wonderful thing you've been doing for the shelter dogs. Does my heart good to see it...

Well you know Big, it's not too late to change that and make you and Cooper both the only dogs who came when called the first time.

Hello, BB

I am so glad your Mama and Daddy rescued you, you have a happy loving home. I wish the same for all the dogs. Cute photos of Cooper!
Wishing you a happy day!

Cooper was for sure a beauty and possible part Greyhound. I've know folks who have been loved by them and I hear there are truly couch potatoes when living with humans and totally devoted. Which is evident in the first photo.

I've not seen that commercial, but LOVE it. So much so, I don't even mind the ear-worm in my head. :)
As ever, thanks for being the cutest ambassador for senior adoptions!

Funny video! I totally agree about adopting seniors. The cute kittens and young cats will always get adopted. But the older ones, they need someone to love them in their old age. They have been through a lot. Sim was 7 when we adopted him. This picture of Bob & Cooper is priceless. Pure LOVE.

I love that commercial. And did mom say Cooper was the only one who listened? No way!

Cooper may have only been there a short time, but left lots of memories...

2 days or 20 years is never enough time with a dog. We need to love them while we can. Lady says if she ever gets another dog, it will be a senior.
