Yesterday, my 1st Gotcha Day, started with a morning walk, right after I had a special breakfast. Mama added a small piece of bacon and daddy a toast crust, to my standard boiled egg.
Daddy stayed home and did not go to the Park, and I stayed out in the yard and watched him work.
At lunch time they went out for his birthday lunch and brought me 1 piece of pulled pork, a small piece of fish and a bit of a biscuit.
That was my Gotcha day lunch. It was delish but she did not give me my ground turkey.
Don't you think it should have been in addition to the turkey?
Red is my color. My Mama said so.... Thank you again to my Alabana cousins Macie and Gracie, for my scarf, not only do I look good, but I got lots of treats while SHE snapped and snapped...

For a gotcha day, yes, I do believe the special food should have been in addition to your turkey. I mean it's a special day, why not :)

A crust of bread?? You need to learn to demand, or, nicely request more on your special day. Mom and Dad mostly rescue, but Mom got turned down by the Carolina Schnauzer rescue group after trying for a year to adopt a schnauzer so she called Angel Lexi's breeder.
