Adopt an adult dog, I came at 5 and 1/2 years old, housetrained, walking on leash correctly, Sit and Stay are in my vocabulary. No dealing with the 'puppy phase', I came fully trained to Love and Live, all that was needed was food, shelter and LOVE... and someone to take my photo and show you my 'special eyes'.

Well, yes... though to be honest, BB, not all dogs for adoption have had that good background. Some come with 'baggage'... but that too is fine. I love the concept of adoption and there is no excuse not to in this day and age!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
And what's not to love about you Big Boy.
Hello, BB
I am glad you found your new mom and dad and are in a loving home. I agree dog lovers should adopt and not shop. Hope you have a happy day!
Methinks this message (and of course, this FACE) needs to be put on billboards all across America. :)
BB you are BEAUTIFUL thru and thru
Hugs Cecilia
BB - I could not agree with you more - we did that and will do it again!
I would love to adopt a dog but it's hard to find non shedding dogs at the shelters but I'm going to try.
Yeah, it's a great idea. Our rescue Roxy was 5 months old, but she was housetrained, microchipped, desexed and had all her needles. And for a 'bargain' dog, she's a wonderful companion.
Phod was about 2 when we got him. I will only get adult dogs if I get more.
You are a perfect example of why peeps should rescue. So are me and Lucy. Then there's Xena... Riley
Ma said she can't imagine goin' through puppy stage again! What? I was a complete ANGEL! heheheheee I thinks that is why adopting adult doggies is so pawsome! And, who could resist YOU BB??! nobody!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
