Big the Service Dog

camera on black and white, from across pool, and two zooms from other end of pool. I look great in zooms

I might look lazy to some of you and I may not look like a Service dog in these 3 photos, but I AM...
My daddy is deaf unless he has his hearing aids in. Even with his aids, he can't hear thunder. It is off his range. Daddy uses me to know if it is safe to go outside or get in our pool, when Mommy is not home to YELL tell  him, that is thundering.

Daddy said if my head goes up and ears forward, it is distant rolling rumbles of thunder, if I get up and move around, it is close, if I start to pace and pant, it means do not go outside...

I am Thunder Pup Service Dog and I hate Thunder.

The past 2 weeks and the next one coming, we have had early morning, afternoon and evening INCHES of Rain and Bolts of thunder, several times  a day.  Typical Florida Summer

florida pic from internet

this past week, a man was struck by lightning on one of our beaches, just 30 minutes from my pool. He died. 7 others were hurt by the bolt that hit him. I am needed to keep my peeps safe.
If you pop over to MadSnapper post today, you will see why daddy needs me.

Good for you warning your daddy about the thunder. You do a good job and I know what a terrifying job it is for you.

Your momma's photo edits here may be my favorite. (So far!)
I'm so impressed how you communicate without having to say a word!

You are a wonderful service dog. We just love the photos. You do such a great job helping your dad out even though it's that loud scary thunder noise. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
