UPDATE FROM MOMMA... my Amazon delivery to Big's former Rescue Shelter started an avalanche of donations, there were 6 that sent from Amazon, they are going to start a wish list from amazon, and 2 people said they used their Sam's club on line to send also.
People want to help but don't have time. 2 ladies work at motels, they are taking old towels there today. People are also mailing checks to them and one volunteer said if we can't bring it to them, she will pick up and deliver. it takes a VILLAGE and at last I have found a good thing FB can do....

Indeed, it takes a village of like-minded people … not this underhanded thing FB is perpetuating re. seeking donations to some cause or another in honor of one's birthday. (I shared in case you haven't seen.)
