Auntie Myra wanted to see how I sleep. Two Chairs and a dog bed. The chairs were purchased in 2012 when she removed the Three Dog Sofa, and paid 40 per chair for Baby and Jake.
Mama added the bed between so I get used to it in case I ever have trouble climbing in the chairs Like Angel Jake did. The bed is new, Jake would not sleep on one and could not climb on the chairs
Mama here: The first night when we went to bed, Big Boy jumped on the bed, we said no, he whined off and on for about 5 minutes, but laid on his bed. 2nd night, he whined once, 3rr night he did not ask. He is so amazing and biddable and learns quickly what we teach him.
I am a light sleeper and can't sleep with pets in bed. That is the reason and the only reason.

BB is so funny, I make up the bed and smooth it. when we come home from the Y he is sitting at the door in sit position waging his tail like crazy. he thinks we don't know that he sleeps on Bob's side of the bed while we are gone. paw prints lead to the big circle where he sleeps on Bob's pillow. we don't care...

What a sweet boy. I can picture him sitting at the door with his wagging tail. How funny that he sleeps on the bed while you're gone. When I had labs, they were not supposed to be up on the couch. The male was happy to oblige so long as we were in the room. If we were out of the room he would get up there and then jump down when he heard us coming.

LOL, BB has his favorite sleeping place on Bob's side of the bed. I am glad he knows where to sleep at night. He is well trained.
Big Boy you are living the life you deserve there with MS and Bob.

That is so cute! He really thinks he fooled you. He must hear you coming into the garage. I like the last picture best, he pretty much has his own little bedroom, fit for a king. I see your open eyeglass case! Is the little mat to put hot or cold drinks on?

That's so cute about Big Boy grabbing a nap on his daddy's pillow … thinking he's pulling one over on y'all! Since they were potty trained our girls have slept in our bed … but I totally get what you mean. I, too, am a light sleeper, concerned if I move wrong one of the girls will go flying off the end of the bed.
I really love how BB has wormed his way into your hearts, home and bedroom.
Big Boy is so fortunate to have you loving him and giving him the security and unconditional love you are pouring on him.
He certainly has a choice. I have a supposed-to-keep-the-bedcover-clean blanket on the bed, but when I'm gone it mysteriously bunches up into a ball. As Roxy is the only one who jumps on the bed...….
