Remembering Jake 2005-2018

Jake 2005-2018
This is my goodbye post to our Dear Sweet Jake. His last few days were full of pain and now he has no more pain, but we are left behind with a hole in our heart that is brimming with the pain of losing our sweet Heart Dog.  These photos remind of all all the almost 13 years of joy we received from Jake.  The page above tells the story of how we got him, under the tab of Jake's Story, We got him from the street, starving and sick with Parvo and he dove straight into hour heart and stayed there and always will.

angel Baby and angel Jake, together again now

To look at Jake in these pictures you would never know he was rescued from the streets. He had a healthy and happy life thanks to you.

Oh Sandra. Though it was not unexpected, it is still heart-breaking. I'm so sorry to her the news.

Just read 'Jake's Story'. What a horrible first 4 months he had. And, yes, most of us wouldn't have taken him in--certainly wouldn't have given him the chance with Parvo. We're so happy you did. And were enriched for 13 years for your decision.

I know you'll miss him. It takes a long time for those heart holes to heal.

We're late but sorry for the loss of your handsome, agile boy Jake. Our Merci lost her sight, much of her hearing and had dementia before she passed, so we understand how it was with Jake. It's never easy to lose one! Hugs.
