Oct 21, 2007 Bob had a heart attack and had emergency Open Heart Surgery. If you look closely you can see his "zipper". this photo is 2 weeks after surgery and the KIDS were demanding LAP time and Mommy was "freakin out" afraid they would hurt him.

It worked out fine, he is fine and so are they. I was the one having a heart attack with my what iffer in gear.

Hi, Baby Girl, Canine Weather Reporter: on the Job to tell You it is RAINING here in Florida (wish we could send some to Texas)

Wed: 5:30 AM Boom Boom! I was home alone and headed for my Condo (back of mommy's closet) Mommy and Daddy were at the YMCA, Daddy did not get to swim, they closed the pool due to lightning. They came home early due to the Storm, so I felt safer.

It rain and boomed and flashed all day long until 5 pm. Now for The Story that is breaking news. (It has been dark as night all morning and I am coming to you from my own personal condo.)

Jake loves to play Ball, it rained all day, Mommy plays ball with him in the rain, but NOT when it is flashing and booming.. 12 hours without a ball game does not a happy Jake Make.

SOOOO at 6 PM our back yard was the scene of Daddy throwing the ball, Jake running after it, Mommy in the pool doing her Arthritis Exercises IN THE POURING RAIN . When they came inside they were all dripping wet, stringy wet hair and Jake looked like a drowned rat. Don't you think Mommy and Daddy went above and beyond? I stayed safe in my condo, but they TOLD me this is what they did.

And we are having a repeat today of yesterday, 3 to 6 inches of rain yesterday and already today.

Not bad for 10 years old

Each night Baby sits in front of the TV and watches closely while I prepare dinner. Jake sits on the rug under my feet. Baby sits so she can peer over the counter top, and the minute I sit the plates on the breakfast bar, she jumps under the stools. I have tried to get a shot with her ears not laid back since she suffers from Flashfobia. Last night I surprised her with the long lens with me leaning over the counter.

After a game of chase the tennis ball, Jake heads for the shade of the hibiscus and bird of paradise. It is hard to find him, since he blends in. Watch the expression as I snap.

Watch the expression change. I was saying all his trigger words to get him to look at me and put up his ears. He and Baby share the hate of my camera

We took Jake to the vet for his annual yesterday, he is fine except he has a torn ligament in his knee and is walking on 3 legs. 326.00 later with 97 of that being for canine glucosmine and 14 days of pain/anti-inflammatory drugs and now we have to wait 2 or 3 months... OR get surgery. NOT

OH Well! I just gave up.....
