Blindshot Big Boy #2

Mama wants me to tell you about this Big Red Ball
NOPE! not MY ball! It's Hers.
This is her story and she took my blog...

It only takes a few a day to make a difference. My pointer and thumb on both hands had no strenght at all. I had to ask Bob or use a butter knife to pop the top on a lid on
Mustard
Ketchup
Hand Cream,
in fact all lids that pop.
I sat the red squeeze ball in a lid, on the kitchen counter. It is by the dog treats that live in the Tostitos dip jar, on top of the journal where I count calories and right next to the phone.
I see the ball MANY times a day.
Two or Three times a day,  I pick it up and do 20 squeezes per hand, and 20 pointer/thumb squeezes.
I can now pop the tops.
And I stopped dropping things........
Talk to your doctor before you do this if you have problems with your hands.

Warning found on Web MD
Don't do this exercise if your thumb joint is damaged.

What a great idea! They even sell balls just for this purpose. I have a little adjustable squeeze machine that P.T. gave me when I was recovering from my surgery and got so weak. This is a gorgeous pic of B.B.! I read on a blog that blogger will take away the option of choosing the old format! I will never be able to learn it, I was counting on keeping the old. The more things change, the more they suck.

Excellent idea with the squeeze ball. I remember my aunt using one after she had a stroke.

Big, your momma is brilliant! A LONG, LONG time ago when I sprained my wrist, my mother would have to take me to the hospital's physical therapy unit where I had to squeeze one of those balls under warm water. Can you imagine people actually DOING that in this day and age?
Love the bright red and green, both in the front and back. :)

That is very smart! Ma has SO much troubles with her tendons (always has), so she tends to deal with them on her own, and never really went to the dogtor for help, cause there really isn't anything they can do unless it's REALLY bad, and so far, Ma has been able to keep things from getting there. Though, nows that she is older than dirt, it does take TONS longer to heal. she is not happy abouts that at all ☺
Keeps squeezin' that ball my furiend!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Pees: if you wants, I can gets it nice and slobbery for ya! BOL!
