Stand Back! Daddy shouted. Mommy jumped up against the wall. It was early am, not quite daylight, 58 brrrrr degrees, I ran circles around the pool deck, I through my tennis ball in the air, I pounched on it and threw it again. Mommy said he runs like a freight train as I whooshed by her. 63 pounds of muscle can do a lot of damage to a human if they get in the way. I heard LAUGHTER! Lots of laughter but could not stop long enough to find out WHY..... whats so funny about a Big Black Dog running 87 miles per hour?
MOMMY HERE.... no photos, it was to dark and dangerous out there. This is the first time in 10 weeks he ran around and around the pool... YAY!
PS above was Wed. today he did the same thing. HE LOVES THE COLD! it is 48 this morning which is freezing for Florida...

58° would feel warm for me right now. I think zooming around the yard is fun, enjoy ! Don't run into the humans.
The last few days our dogs have been cavorting outside … like puppies once more. I agree, they must love the cold weather … invigorating, for sure. Alexa informed me it was 28* at 6:30 this morning; I don't know how much cavorting I'm going to be doing, but I LOVE it!
BB do you have some Arctic Blood in your veins. I know it thrilled mom and dad to see you so happy

He is happy, happy, happy! Lean, and in excellent shape. So why not run for joy? Ten weeks! Seems like you only just got him to me! Slow down time!
We haven't been above the 30's this week. I would run around just to keep warm but I don't think I could keep up with BB
Great dramatic story. I thought that a real freight train was coming at you (oh no!!!!). I imagine that BB isn't too different from a real one. I'm glad that he loves the cold and had the zoomies! BTW, our temp this AM was 12, exactly one quarter of your temp! Shyla adores the cold. Me, not so much!

P.S.: We are up here in IL and it's a lot colder than 58 degrees. LOL. Ruby hates the cold and would love some Florida temps!

That is how Otti used to do...we called it zooming cause his feet hardly touched the ground...and heaven forbid you accidentally step in front of him.
