Cigar Man... AKA Jake the Clown Dog... every morning at 5 AM he gets his shoe or this bone and paces all over the house while we get dressed to to to the gym.... no matter how many times he does it, we laugh and laugh. he is our start the day happy dog..
But you can tell by the ears he is not happy about the camera.

Some of the habits they pick up can be so funny. Jake looks cute walking around with his bone even if his ears aren't in the happy position :)
I love their rituals.
Jake is such a handsome guy - I justlove his coat patten. His morning ritual reminds me of what Diva Shasta will do when she wants to go outside - she will grab a toy and pace wildly about the house until I let her out.

They bring so much into our lives. My dog Hiker follows me around all morning once I get out of bed, then after we have breakfast, she wants to go outside and explore the back yard.
Mine aren't crazy about being photographed either. Wonder why that is? Jake is a beautiful boy, happy or not.
