Paws for Pouting

Some of you know, Hubby loves to grow things from seeds. He has 5 butter tubs, with one inch to 4 inch plants in them, sitting in the sun outside our sliding glass door. Baby LOVES to rip out those spindly plants and eat or destroy.
Christmas Eve, I was in the backyard with long lens on my camera shooting for this weeks post. I heard Hubby Severely Reprimand (yell) at Baby for you know what. She stormed over to the glass door and slammed it open with her head (yes, both dogs can open the door) and went inside and sat down with her back to us. One P.O.'d Dog. I shot these through the glass, while I baby talked her, she turned and looked once and you can see the rest. we were hysterically laughing at her and she refused to look at us.
Note the only thing that changes in these photos are the EARS.. each time I called her name, they twitched to show she was listening but not answering...

O.K. this got funny when you said she slammed the door open!! They open and close the patio doors with their heads???? Baby is one sensitive girl! How many seedlings did she ruin? I notice she picked a sunny spot to pout in. So she did have the presence of mind to give you the warm shoulder instead of the cold shoulder.

They are special aren't they? We had a most wonderful dog, a Llhasa Apso, and I can't remember what he did but he deserved a scolding. No yelling involved just a scolding. He was so upset he went to hide under a bed and refused to come out. When he finally did, I swear he had been crying. My heart broke for him and my mother felt badly. He finally came running to us and got a big hug. All was forgiven...on both sides!

That is way too funny! My cat will do the same thing (the pouting, not opening doors) when she doesn't get her way. I love the one where Baby is looking over her shoulder at you.

Dogs are so funny in their personalities and they know just how to let US know when they are not happy with US!!!

I am way behind on your blogs. I can't comment on all of them. I am behind in everything! Love this one about Baby. They are so much smarter than we give them credit for and obviously are picking up a lot from us humans. BIG QUESTION!Who taught Baby how to give "the cold shoulder?" Shall I venture a guess? :-)

Bless her little heart! They can be so sensitive can't they. Daughter's little dog cries tears when she gets scolded and then hides in her blanket.
